a focal point for connecting academic and community researchers interested in how the First World War lives on in the twenty-first century world.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iwm.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">iwm.org.uk<br \/><\/a>IWM was established in 1917, while the First World War was still being fought, to ensure future generations understood the causes and consequences of war, to collect and display material as a record of everyone\u2019s experiences during that warand to remember the men and women who served.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newmp.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">newmp.org.uk<br \/><\/a>The North East War Memorials Project is intended to assist members of the public, Local and Family History Groups, Military Historians, Schools and individuals to learn about and research their local War Memorials and record the results.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/northumbriaworldwarone.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Northumbria World War One
